Drug Reference Range
Normal and Toxic Ranges

A reference range table has been compiled to determine whether or not a drug level is Toxic, or falls within the Therapeutic range. Please note that these ranges can be affected by age, sex, general health, synergism with other compounds, and individual response. These ranges are meant as guidelines, not absolute rules.

Definitions:

Normal Therapeutic Range:

The concentration of a drug present in the blood, serum, or plasma  following  therapeutically  effective dosages in humans.

Toxic Range:

The concentration of a drug present in blood, serum, or plasma that is associated with toxic symptoms in humans.
